- The most important type of electromagnetic harassment of transceivers – receivers – scanners etc today, is what emanates from the very powerful signals emission of F.M. radio and television stations. This harassment is presented in portable and in mobile V.H.F. and U.H.F. radio devices. It usually becomes perceptible from the clue in S-meter of transceiver etc, without however making reception of some station. What happens in this case is that the frond-end of the receiver has blanketing and the receiver cannot make reception not only with weak signals but in a lot of cases still and very powerful. This situation is not as other interferences that happens for few moments and afterwards stops. The radio emissions are possessed on a 24 hour basis therefore also the harassment that creates is continuous. - We also faced this problem a while ago. As soon as we put our transceiver with a better external antenna, their receiver was made useless. After a lot of trials, measurements and tedious experiments we eliminated completely the above problem with a HIGH-PASS filter, SV1FJ-01 that we adapted in one very beautiful, small, metal plasticization box with male and female connector, to easily fit between the antenna connector of radio and connector in transmission line of exterior antenna. - This filter begins to attenuate all signals from 130 MHz and under. Reaching at 108 MHz has achieved attenuation in the entering signals, the order of 50 db! With this much attenuation in the spectrum of radiofrequencies is also found in radio band of the broadcasting F.M., these stations practically are disappeared by our transceivers even when we go very near them. The power that can pass in from the filter is more than the 50 watt and attenuation that causes this filter in the 2m band (144-148 MHz) and in the 70 cm band (430-450 MHz) is practically negligible (less than 0,5 db) and thus all functions work again beautifully. - Today we are in the pleasant place we can to you offer this filter more improved as well as other with different connectors (PL-259, N-TYPE ETC). ---------------------------------------------------------- All our products are drawn and manufactured with big assiduity and after long-lasting research and experiments.
